    The OU stands for “Orthodox Union” and it is the largest Kashrut agency in the world. If a particular product has certification from the OU it means that their experts in Kashrut have examined the factory that it was produced in and made any changes to the product line to ensure that it is Kosher. It also means that the OU have Kashrut supervisors on site making sure that nothing is changed and that every single ingredient being used in the product is Kosher.
