Under the Law, did G-d restrict the Israelites from wearing jewelry, make up, drinking wine, etc. And what was considered men’s clothing in ancient times for the Israelites? How was men and women clothes differ?

    Jewelry, makeup and wine were all integral parts of daily life and they were and are very much permitted.

    Clothing was light and airy. Mostly, men and women would wear a large blanket-like (or sheet-like depending on the time of the year) covering that was extremely modest. The colors and designs would differentiate between the ones that the men wore and the ones that the women wore.
