Question

what is the purpose of all the insipring chazals for someone that has not changed in his growth ever. and how could it be given over in a way that will promote growth. and how can one who is learning with someone like that not get influenced from him?

    The point of the inspiring teachings from Chazal is to inspire a person. The fact that he has not yet allowed himself to be inspired does not detract from their importance and their potency. It simply means that person requires more time until it seeps into the soul. In a sense, the inspiring words of Chazal are like the drops of water on the stone that Rabbi Akiva saw, which slowly, slowly make a change.
