Hotel Room With Only One Bed

Question

If during niddah, a couple has no choice but to stay in a hotel room with only one bed, and the floor is not suitable for sleeping, what does that couple do?

    I am not sure that there is any acceptable alternative to someone sleeping on the floor as it is forbidden for the couple to sleep together in the same bed when the wife is Niddah. Perhaps it is possible to ask the hotel if they have a room with twin beds that you move into – even it is involves paying an additional charge for it.
