Egg Donation and Pidyon haBen

Question

If a bat kohen/levi donates eggs to a bat Yisrael, and she conceives by an Yisrael father with a first born boy, is he obligated in Pidyon Haben? What if bat Yisrael donates eggs to bat kohen/Levi? Sources please

    It is a Machlokes haPoskim. Many Poskim in America are of the opinion that the egg donor is not the one who defines the status of the child. Rather, it is the birth mother. In Eretz Yisrael the Poskim tend to rule the other way – that the status of the donor is the one who defines if there is a Pidyon haBen or not.
