does soap have to be kosher? If it is made out of tallow (cow fat?) As anything on your skin is absorbed into your body.

    Soap that is used for hands, and not for washing dishes, does not technically have to be Kosher. However, to avoid any mistakes happening in the home, it is always recommended to use soap that does not have any non-Kosher ingredients in it.
