Any utensil that is used to make non-Pesach food needs to be Kashered for Pesach. That would mean that if you were careful to use only Kosher for Pesach products you can use the crockpot for Pesach as well. If use non Kosher for Pesach products – even if they are not chametz – the crockpot would require Kashering before it can be used on Pesach. However, if you use chametz (for example, barley) the crockpot is no longer a Pesach crockpot and it cannot be used on Pesach at all.
