A Land Flowing with Milk and Honey
Good evening. I have a question about the land flowing with milk and honey. Could “flowing with milk and honey” be a euphemism for the let-down response and a mother’s breast milk? G-d contrasts the flowing of milk and honey in Israel with the work to make the land produce in Egypt, and the picture I always got in my mind was that this good land would give up its produce as soon as we cry out, like when a nursing mother hears her own child cry.
I was wondering if this picture was correct. I’ve tried researching this, but I’ve never heard anything like this from any commentary.

It’s a fascinating idea! I am not familiar with a source that suggests the same concept but it is certainly something to think about.
