Question
In Jewish tradition, what is the significance of the olive? From a culinary standpoint, it is something relatively minor. In modern times, it is eaten primarily as an accessory in salads and as a pizza topping, but is by no means a staple crop. It is also used to make olive oil, which is not the most popular type of oil, probably in part because of its high cost. In the Temple in Jerusalem, it was used to light the menorah, and some people use it for their Chanukah candles. With all that in mind, why is the olive valued so heavily more than other things we eat way more often?

So if the child is around 3 or 4 - he may be treated with more dignity and respect and not like an infant. Or, could depend on the parents preference how they would like to arrange it. They may choose to go about it in a,more subtle manner so not to upset or worry about it.

Question
How is it that David seems to have broken the Torah and put the ark in a tent of his choosing when the tent of Moses was 10 km away and still functioning? What is the proper Jewish thought towards David's actions? How did he get away with being a priest?

Question
Shalom, I hope my question makes some kind of sense. Regarding the many writings of King David telling of the goodness of G-d, is he only referring to the many wonderful acts and blessings that G-d did for him, or is he talking of simply God’s goodness, just because He is G-d? What IS the goodness of G-d? Am I making the goodness of G-d more than it is? I know that my question(s) may seem juvenile, but, I expressed it the best way I could. Thank you for any help.
