Creation of the World
Short and simple, every claim stated by the rabbis about creation can not be proven, not scientifically nor Biblically. On the other hand, all claims made by scientists can and are proven both scientifically and Biblically.
My question is, when will Torah students accept the reality of the truth and begin defending the Torah instead of defending the rabbis?
Answers
Truth in Judaism is defined by the Torah, of which the Rabbis have always and will always be the authoritative authorities.
I assume that you have read all the contemporary works about the Creation, such as Genesis and the Big Bang by Dr. Gerald Schroeder; The Seven Days of Creation by Dr. Natan Aviezer; and Immortality, Resurrection and the Age of the Universe: A Kabbalistic View by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan. If you have read them and you have the proofs to disprove their premises, I would suggest that you contact Dr. Schroeder and Dr. Aviezer directly (Rabbi Kaplan is no longer alive) to discuss your objections with them.
