Parable of Ten Virgins

Question

Dear Rabbi

Jesus told a parable about 10 virgins, some who didn’t have enough oil when the bridegroom came at midnight. Can you please explain what is meant by this part of the marriage tradition?

    I do not know. The parable of Ten Virgins is a Christian one and Just Ask! is a site for questions pertaining to anything to do with Judaism. I think that you might be better served by asking your question to a Christian resource.
