Hydroponics: Five Grains

does the Halacha’s prohibitio of Chadash apply to one of the five grains grown hydroponically or no?

    I am not aware of anyone producing any of the five grains commercially through hydroponics. Until such a scenario exists, it seems to me that there is no need to investigate and rule on the issue.
