What prayer can I do to ask for protection for the people of Israel?

    There is no formal prayer, per se, for the welfare of the entire Jewish Nation (there are special prayers for the soldiers and for all those serving in the security services, and there is a prayer for the welfare of the State of Israel. Both of those prayers can be found in the Shabbat Services in many Prayer Books). However, you should feel free to compose your own prayer in your language. You can implore God to free the kidnapped unharmed, and bring all the soldiers and all those serving in the security services home safe and sound. “All” it really requires is to let the words come out of your heart for them to soar up to our Father in Heaven.
