Opening Package on Yom Tov

Question

Can I open a package that contains special honey for Rosh Hashanah, which arrived on Rosh Hashanah, which is also Shabath, can I open it on Yom Tov?

    If there is no way to speed up the delivery so that it arrives before Rosh Hashanah, in theory it can be opened so long as you are careful not to tear any letters or numbers when opening the package. However, if it is not urgent, it would definitely be better to leave it until after Yom Tov, to keep the Festive atmosphere.
