It is better to recite them before Shkiah so as not to be uncertain whether they were said on that day or not. Shkiah is somewhat difficult to define as to whether it belongs to the day before or to the next day. If it belongs to the next day, it means that a day has been missed and there were not forty consecutive days.
In any event, there is not problem with reciting Perek Shira and/or Nishmas at night. Likewise, it is absolutely fine to recite them on Shabbos.
