“Amen” to your blessing. What a fascinating question! I think the first significant act of anti-Semitism was when King Nimrod threw Abraham into a fiery furnace because Abraham refused to change his belief in Monotheism to Nimrod’s idolatry and paganism. Since then, there has been an ongoing struggle between believers of the One God and His absolute Unity on the one side, and the believers of division and paganism on the other.
Therefore, it transpires that anti-Semitism was sparked off by the actions of one man and actually pre-dates the formation of the Jewish nation by hundreds of years. Jewish tradition teaches that there is only way to expect anti-Semitism to end: When all nations finally accept the truth of the existence of One God, Who gave the Torah at Mount Sinai.
If you are interested in further understanding these concepts, there is an excellent book called “Why the Jews?: The Reason for Antisemitism” by Joseph Telushkin and Dennis Prager.
