Answers
Judaism teaches that no one is created cruel. Middot – traits – are neither good nor bad. Rather, they are raw material that each person is given in a unique blend, and it is what we do with our Middot that will define whether we will be judged as good or bad by God. That means that a cruel person will not be able to claim in the World of Truth that there was nothing that he could do since it was destined that he be cruel in this world. Nothing could be further from the truth. What he did was choose to be cruel.
