1. Converting an ET Alien & 2. Is Their Food Kosher
Question
I have a theoretical question:
Consider there are non-human persons that exist, created outside this world of earth, but never revealed to us, which possess intelligent thought.
Would it be possible for one of them to convert to Judaism (Giur, be considered a part of the Jewish faith by all)? Consider that they can distinguish good from evil.
In the same vain of questions – consider they have food, very different to our, and they brought some to us.
How could we distinguish which is Kosher (animal, plant, fish or none) and which is not?

The Torah was given to the Jewish People to be used here in our physical world. I would imagine that that means that anyone living in our world who is not Jewish could be a candidate for conversion. Would that include an alien who is living permanently in our world? If the Rabbinical authorities at that time rule that they can be converted, then it would be permissible to do so.
The only animals, birds and fish that are kosher are those listed in the Torah. Anything else cannot be defined as Kosher. Plants, vegetables and fruits are all Kosher and would be considered Kosher even if they were from a different planet.
